Alison Doody

Alison Doody has been an Irish actor and model from 11 November 1996. She made her movie debut as the Bond girl on the set of A View to a Kill, (1985). Then she appeared as a character in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade in 1989. Doody played Nazi sympathizing archaeologist Elsa Schneider. Siobhan donnevan starred in A Prayer for the Dying in 1987. Charlotte played Taffin (in 1988) as well as Rebecca Flannery played Major League II. Doody began her modeling career after the opportunity was offered by a aspiring photographer. Her career has since evolved into commercial modelling. Doody was adamantly against the glamour of thongs, nakedness and nudity when she was modeling. In 1988, she starred alongside Pierce Brosnan on the movie Taffin. Her most recognizable role to date was as Austrian Nazi sympathiser as well as archaeologist Dr. Elsa Schneider opposite Harrison Ford in 1989's Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Doody appeared alongside Sean Connery in the film in the role of Indy's father. Doody was in the British series Selling Hitler with Jonathan Pryce. The Asphyx was the 2011 version of her film. Pam Jefferson is her role in the E4 Comedy Drama Beaver Falls' first of two seasons. She starred in We Still Kill the Old Way in 2014, a documentary. The 21st of November, 2018, she was awarded by the Almeria the tierra de cine prize and was awarded an award in the Almeria Walk of Fame.
